An early 20th century silver tupo or clothing pin from Bolivia. Although most traditional tupos are long straight forms, this was made in the manner of western brooches, with a back pin and "C" hook. I think this figure is of a person from the eastern low, jungle areas of Bolivia, as these people are often shown with bows and arrows.
The detail is very good with that lovely old patina of used silver. The pin is silver, probably coin so .900 or so. The hinge is copper and the hook is brass. In excellent antique condition.
