Pulled "earthworm" type decorations on a redware clay body. A beautiful polychrome piece - brown, red and green on an eggshell base glaze. The glazes are so old that they´re iridescent in the right light. Please see the pics for the signature, an "M.P." at one edge of the clay foot. The piece is in good antique condition with a crack that runs from the edge into the center and reasonable wear for the age to the glazed surfaces - most visible in the center of the bowl.
